Dr. Chae received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from Loma Linda University, where he graduated with honors. While at the university, he was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. He then went on to complete his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in downtown Chicago.
Dr. Chae possesses extensive experience in the management of facial trauma, odontogenic infections and pathology. He has treated numerous patients within the clinical setting for everything from dental implants to reconstructive procedures and is well trained in outpatient anesthesia and orthographic surgery.
Dr. Chae is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgerons (AAOMS), the American Dental Association (ADA) and American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA). He is also accredited by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Dr. Chae is also certified in Basic Life Support from the American College of Surgeons for healthcare providers.
He currently serves on the staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and is an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.
