Home Procedures

This is a dental appliance that is generally used at night with patients that have TMJ problems or people that clench or grind their teeth. The appliance is fitted to the upper or lower arch and deprograms the jaw to stop these degenerative habits while it is in place.

Oral appliances can be used to treat both snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea. These appliances work by positioning the jaw in a slightly forward position which opens the airway. These appliances can be used alone or in conjunction with a CPAP device to treat OSA.
